TROUBLESHOOTING

LINKING:

To connect your Smart Vital tracker/band for the first time, kindly follow the below steps to link your tracker/band with the app:

  • HoPlease make sure that your phone "Mobile Data" or "Wi-Fi" with Mobile phone "Bluetooth" is ON & LOCATION is ON.
  • Open your Phone Settings > Select Bluetooth >Under Bluetooth if you see GOQii as "Connected" or "Paired", kindly tap to "FORGET/ UNPAIR" it.
  • Once it's unpaired, follow the further steps to link the tracker/band:
  • Open the GOQii app
  • Tap on the Tracker icon (which is on the Top right hand corner). It will take you on Apps & Devices page
  • Select GOQii Smart Vital & click on “Setup Now”.
  • Now click on “Start Search”. Your application will search for the GOQii Smart vital and it will ask you to "Send A Link Request" (at this point in time you will receive a Bluetooth pairing request, kindly ignore the same here)
  • You will see a 4 digit number on the tracker/band display with “Tap to Link” option, please double tap on tracker/band display to connect with the app and your tracker/band will be connected (tap to link option will be there on the tracker/band for just 5 seconds, hence please be little quick)
  • Post that you need to set your “Daily Steps Target” kindly SAVE the same.
  • Now it will take you through the tutorials, read the same & click on NEXT.
  • Also, you’ll be requested to Calibrate your Blood pressure and select the parameter as per your last 2 BP readings (that you might have checked during Doctor visits, this helps the tracker to give more accurate data)

Note: Do not minimize the app & start working on some other application in the background as the linking process may get interrupted & doesn't go through.

Issues that you may encounter while linking:
Link Error

If you get this message, it means you might have connected your tracker with another GOQii account. Hence please Unlink from that account first & retry the Linking process again.

If you are unable to Unlink from the old account, then “Chat with our Agent” and they will guide you on the same

Tracker Not Found

If you get this error, follow the below steps depending on your phone make.

iOS: Just restart the phone- Open GOQii App- Now enable the phone Bluetooth & then try the Linking process once again

Samsung: Go to Phone Settings > Tap on Apps > Application list > Tap on 3 vertical dots at the top right hand corner > Tap on Show system/ System Apps > Search for Bluetooth > Tap on Storage > Tap on Clear Data

OnePlus: Go to Phone Settings > Tap on Apps > Application list > Tap on 3 vertical dots at the top right hand corner > Tap on Show system > Search for Bluetooth > Tap on Storage > Tap on Clear Data

Redmi/ MI: Go to Phone Settings > Tap on Apps > Search for Bluetooth Share > Tap on Bluetooth Share > Tap on Storage > Tap on Clear Data

Vivo: Phone Settings > More Settings> Applications> All> Bluetooth Share> Storage> Clear data

Motorola: Go to Phone Settings > Tap on Apps > Tap on 3 vertical dots at the top right hand side corner > Tap on Show system > Search for Bluetooth Share > Tap on Bluetooth Share > Tap on Storage > Tap on Clear Data

Note: Clear Data will not delete any of your phone data, it will just unpair the devices paired with your phone Bluetooth & will help to reboot the same.

Link Request not received on your Tracker display

If you have multiple trackers in the same room, the request may be received on another tracker.

Hence, please go to an isolated area or in another room where there is no other GOQii tracker and then try the Linking process again.

If the issue still persists then we will connect with you on CALL/CHAT.


SYNCING:

If you have already connected the tracker/band/device with GOQii App and want to sync the same then follow these steps:

Ensure that your phone "Mobile Data" or "Wi-Fi" with Mobile phone "Bluetooth" is ON & LOCATION is ON.

Open GOQii App

Tap on the Tracker icon (which is on the Top right corner). It will take you on Tracker Settings page,

Select SYNC option and wait till you get a Green tick mark on the tracker icon. Once you get the Green tick means the Syncing is completed & the Synced time will be changed as “Synced Today at Time”

Note: Do not minimize the app & start working on some other application in the background as the syncing process may get interrupted & doesn't go through.


Issues may be encountered while syncing

If you do not get a Green tick mark & you see an Orange circle rotating means the tracker is not able to connect to the app, in this case follow these steps:

Open your Phone Settings > Select Bluetooth > Under Bluetooth if you see GOQii as "Connected" or "Paired", kindly tap and "FORGET/ UNPAIR" it and then try the Syncing steps again.


If the issue still persists, then you need to Reboot your phone Bluetooth, kindly follow the below steps and then try the Syncing process again:

iOS: Restart the phone - Open GOQii App - Enable the phone Bluetooth & then try the Linking process once again.

Samsung: Go to Phone Settings > Tap on Apps > Application list > Tap on 3 vertical dots at the top right hand side corner > Tap on Show system/ System Apps > Search for Bluetooth > Tap on Storage > Tap on Clear Data

One Plus: Go to Phone Settings > Tap on Apps > Application list > Tap on 3 vertical dots at the top right hand side corner > Tap on Show system > Search for Bluetooth > Tap on Storage > Tap on Clear Data

Redmi/ MI: Go to Phone Settings > Tap on Apps > Search for Bluetooth Share > Then tap on Bluetooth Share > Tap on Storage > Tap on Clear Data 

Vivo: Phone Settings > More Settings> Applications> All> Bluetooth Share> Storage> Clear data Motorola Phones: Go to Phone Settings > Tap on Apps > Tap on 3 vertical dots at the top right hand side corner > Tap on Show system > Search for Bluetooth Share > Tap on Bluetooth Share > Tap on Storage > Tap on Clear Data

Smart Vital Tracker not charging / Display dead

We wish to inform you that your GOQii Smart vital tracker comes with a separate two pin magnetic charger. Hence kindly follow the below steps to charge the same:

  • - Plug your device directly on the two pin charger & insert the charger in USB port, Laptop or an adapter
  • - Once plugged in, the GOQii logo appears followed by the the battery icon. If you are unable to view the battery icon on the tracker, try on 2-3 different USB ports.
  • - Once you are able to see the Battery icon, charge until battery icon is completely filled (For around 1-2 hours).

How to Calibrate Blood pressure/ BP Parameters showing incorrect

GOQii Smart Vital is a one of its kind device compared with any other fitness trackers available in the market.

As far as reliability and accuracy is concerned, we won't recommend our users to use it as a medical device and we won't promise that it is 100% accurate. However, we want to assure you that the accuracy for Blood Pressure is above 90%.

The accuracy for other vitals such as Body Temperature, Heart Rate and SPO2 is close to 98% to 99%.

You can set the range of your Blood Pressure in the GOQii app by following these steps for precise readings:

  • - Open the GOQii app
  • - Tap on GOQii Tracker icon at the top right hand side corner
  • - Tap on Sync (Once you see the green tick mark)
  • - Then tap on Blood Pressure
  • - From there you need to select your usual Blood Pressure range (such as Low, Normal, High & Very High) so that the tracker can show your BP appropriately.

Not receiving Tracker Notification

First check if you have enabled DND mode ( - ) Icon on the tracker. You can see it when you swipe the tracker/band display downwards in Smart vital. If the DND is highlighted in Red, please unhighlight by clicking on it to activate notifications.

On the App, to enable tracker notification make sure that your phone "Mobile Data" or "Wi-Fi" with Mobile phone "Bluetooth" is ON & LOCATION is ON.

Now Open GOQii App

Tap on the Tracker icon (which is on the Top right hand corner). It will take you on Tracker Settings page,

Select SYNC option and wait till you get a Green tick mark on the tracker icon. Now Click on “Tracker Notification” and Enable the same.

It will ask you to Allow Permission for GOQii App to read the notifications, kindly allow the same.

Now select the options that you want to be notified for - Call / SMS/ Apps (this customize option is available only on Android phones)

You might receive a pairing request, kindly Pair the same and you will start receiving notifications.

Note:-

First two Notifications may be missed, but you will start receiving the 3rd notification onwards.

Make sure your tracker/band & phone is within a range of 8 meters

Disable Bluetooth when you don’t want notifications, this will help to reboot the Phone Bluetooth.

Restart GOQii app- Sync the band with the app and make sure your Bluetooth is ON, you will start receiving notifications again.


Smart Vital Battery life

Smart vital battery life is upto 7 days, depending on the usage.

If all functions are enabled it will last for 3-4 days. You can extend the same to 7 days by lowering brightness, switching off notifications, disable continuous Heart Rate and Temperature Monitoring.

If the issue still persists, then charge the device completely 2-3 hours and repeat the same one more time to check if the battery life is less than 3-4 days.


Distance calculated by Smart Vital Tracker is less

Smart Vital is not GPS enabled.

The tracker/band may show less distance than the distance you had covered while running. This could be due to the difference in stride length while walking and running. GOQii tracker/band calculates distance by multiplying your walking steps by the stride length. The tracker/band is designed to calculate the stride length using height, weight and gender of any individual. Since the tracker is not GPS enabled, there may be a discrepancy in distance travelled shown when compared with a GPS enabled device.


Phone Keypad not working after Connecting Smart Vital

For iOS users

If your phone keypad is not working, we request you to disable your phone bluetooth so the keypad will start working.

For Android users

If your Phone keypad stops working in that case please follow below steps:

Open Phone Settings > Bluetooth > Check paired device (Smart Vital) and click on Setting icon > Here you will find INPUT DEVICE, kindly disable the same.

Your phone keypad will start working. If still the issue persists, disable the phone Bluetooth & try again.
